Whether you’re a pit master or a rank amateur, smoking wood chunks bring flavour to your kettle, kamado or smoker that you can’t achieve with charcoal alone. Holm oak chunks are pieces of wood from the pruning and cleaning of controlled forests. The chunks are kiln dried and served in 2.5kg bags.
These chunks are ideal for foods that need to be cooked and smoked for an extended period of time.
Perfect pairing with whole chicken, beef, pork or lamb joints, turkey, game and whole fish.
How to use your holm oak wood chunks?
You need to soak the holm oak wood chunks in water for at least 20 minutes, then add them to the glowing charcoal. They can be used on a gas or electric barbecues but you will need use a smoker or place them on a perforated aluminium tray.

The Legua Holm Oak Wood Chunks 2.5Kg wood-fired oven comes in 6 sizes; 70, 80, 90, 100, 110 and 120. Please see the capacity diagrams below for each size.
The 70 can fit up to 1 x 12" pizzas in at one time, 1 x roast at one time, or 4 x loafs of bread at one time.
The 80 can fit up to 2 x 12" pizzas in at one time, 2 x roasts at one time, or 6 x loafs of bread at one time.
The 90 can fit up to 3 x 12" pizzas in at one time, 3 x roasts at one time, or 8 x loafs of bread at one time.
The 100 can fit up to 4 x 12" pizzas in at one time, 5 x roasts at one time, or 10 x loafs of bread at one time.
The 120 can fit up to 6 x 12" pizzas in at one time, 8 x roasts at one time, or 16 x loafs of bread at one time.
The 140 can fit up to 9 x 12" pizzas in at one time, 10 x roasts at one time, or 24 x loafs of bread at one time.
